A: This depends on how much flooring is being installed, but smaller projects typically take one to four days, and bigger projects can take up to three weeks.
A: The durability of laminate floors depends on the kind you are buying. We are proud to offer a variety of high quality laminate flooring. One of our flooring specialists can walk you through the options and help you decide which one is best for your needs.
A: We recommend waiting 48-72 hours after the final coat is complete to bring in any furniture.
A: Even with regular sweeping and vacuuming, hardwood floors are bound to need a deeper cleaning every once in a while. Be sure to buy a cleaner that is specifically made for hardwood floors, as wood is more sensitive than other surfaces in your home. And whatever you do, don’t use a soaking wet mop or let water sit on your floors; it doesn’t take long for water to damage hardwood floors.
A: The best way to maintain hardwood floors is to clean spills immediately, use furniture pads, don’t wear shoes in the house (especially high heels), sweep or dust daily, and vacuum weekly.
A: We recommend waiting 1-3 weeks, depending on what type of finishes were applied to your floor.
